One of Living Springs’ core values is “empowering the next generation.” So we provide a lot of opportunities for kids up to 5th grade to gain Bible knowledge, learn social skills, and grow in faith and love. (If you need ministries for kids in 6th grade and older, visit our Youth Ministries page.)
When you need a safe and loving place for your children 24 months and younger, bring them to the Living Springs nursery. The nursery is available in Room 120 during both services on Sunday mornings. Our staff and volunteers create a fun, stimulating environment complete with yummy snacks! You’ll receive a pager when you drop your child off, so we can contact you during the service if necessary. You can return the pager when you pick up your child.
Our nursery is stocked with a wide variety of toys, so your child won’t need to bring anything from home (unless it’s a “security” item like a special blanket or pacifier). Please label diaper bags, clothing, and other personal items with the child’s full name—you wouldn’t believe how similar these things look when they are all brought at the same time!
We want to keep all our kids safe and healthy, so we change the bedding in the nursery after each use. In addition, beds and toys are regularly wiped down with a sterilizing solution. You can help us all stay healthy by keeping children at home if they’ve had any of these symptoms in the past 24 hours:
- Rash or open sores
- Runny nose (not clear)
If you have questions or suggestions—or if you want to volunteer!—contact Priscilla Cordero.
Throughout the school year, children age 2 through 5th grade can explore God’s Word through a Bible-based curriculum on Sunday mornings during the 9:00am service. The format includes large group activity time, Bible verse memorization, music, story time, and small group application and prayer. During June, July, and August, most of our teachers take a much-needed break, so we offer Summer Sunday School at 9:00am ONLY for the 2–5-year-old preschoolers.
Living Springs Preschool provides a positive first school experience for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds. Visit the Preschool section of this website for more detailed information, or download the Preschool brochure (PDF).
