Pastor Dave is rediscovering the ancient practices of “the daily offices,” stopping throughout the day to reorient his attention to God through prayer and Bible reading. These offices provide a lifeline in the typical whiteout of ministry activity that often threatens to overwhelm and disorient him. Dave is passionate about family life, leadership development, and multicultural ministry. He and his wife, Kristin, their two boys, Joshua and Caleb, and their daughter, Anika, live in Glenwood, Illinois. Pastor Dave loves mountain biking, coaching his boys, golfing, and passing along bad jokes.
Director of Outreach and Discipleship
Randle spent 14 years in corporate America, so he comes to his role at Living Springs with a heart for equipping ordinary Christians to live their faith at work. He understands that effective ministry is holistic, affecting mind, body, and soul—and it can happen in the natural rhythm of our everyday lives. When Randle is not brainstorming about racial reconciliation, socioeconomic reconciliation, and leadership development, he might be golfing, eating exotic foods, or spending time with his wife Loni and their two daughters, Laylah and Lana.
Lead Pastor, Living Springs Riverdale
Pastor Ann is leading the newest branch of the Living Springs family—Living Springs Riverdale. Her contagious love for Jesus and people has already been a blessing in that community, and she is using all her life experience to connect with people. Pastor Ann is a social worker for the Cook County court system; she counsels people who need help accessing and leveraging available resources. She is particularly sensitive to the needs of women and families in crisis, and she leads a team of volunteers in the Circle Ministry to offer help in a way that is empowering, not enabling. As a member of the Multi-Racial Commission Team of our denomination (the Reformed Church in America), Ann actively addresses the thorny issues of social injustice and racism, and she loves to help churches experience the richness of diversity that is possible in Chicago’s south suburbs. The encouragement and support she received from her children, Brittany and Josh, while she followed God’s call to seminary, were key to her being recognized at her graduation for her work toward the development of community. They continue to work alongside her in Riverdale.
Minister of Pastoral Care
Pastor Mark claims Galatians 2:20 as a verse that summarizes his testimony—“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Pastor Mark visits, prays, and shares Scripture with people who are hospitalized, grieving, or walking through other valleys. He also has experience as a Hospice chaplain, helping people transition from this life into the next. Having found Jesus during a time when he considered himself an atheist, Pastor Mark is uniquely sensitive to people who find it difficult to accept the claims of Christ.
Director of Ministries and Administration
Perhaps Keith’s experience in the Raceway Ministries information booth— “helping those who were lost in more ways than one” —is what best prepared him to serve at Living Springs. He brings a sense of joyful customer service to the Administrator role, and he combines that with skills he developed throughout his careers as a project manager, estimator, artist, and printing supervisor. Keith understands the Living Springs commitment to equip members to be the church in their own communities and workplaces, and his administrative skills help ensure that the right resources are in the right place at the right time. When he is not at the building on Halsted Street, Keith and his wife Geri are probably cheering on their favorite Chicago teams or decorating their house, yard, and car for Halloween, their favorite holiday.
It takes a special blend of confidence and humility to take on the mantle of Worship Director at Living Springs. Greg and Nicole use their own talents to encourage others to develop theirs, with the focus always on glorifying God and fully entering into His presence. Greg is a keyboardist who has developed fluency in a wide range of styles because he believes music can connect with a wide range of people. Nicole’s vocal training has equipped her to express herself confidently in worship while also gently leading others to do the same. Nicole and Greg have two children who are already active in discovering how to use their skills and talents to bless God’s people.

Rich feels called to cultivate a personal love and affection for Jesus that rivals every other desire and increases daily throughout his entire life. As Director of Youth Ministry, he shares that passion with high school and junior high students, creating an environment where they can be released into a “sold out” love for Jesus that impacts the world. As Director of Prayer Ministry, he encourages people of all ages toward a deeper and more enjoyable prayer life. Rich lives in Thornton and enjoys relaxing in his pool or spending time with friends.
Director of Children’s MinistriesIn the years that Jeanne has led the Living Springs Preschool, she has ministered to hundreds of families who want their children to begin school on a foundation that is both solid and wide-ranging. She brings the same passion and a quiet sense of organization to Living Springs’ Sunday School program, equipping a team of gifted teachers and volunteers to bring God’s Word to life in little hearts. Jeanne wants all children to experience the love of Jesus. Jeanne is married and lives in Homewood. She agrees with the Psalmist who says of the Lord: I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. (Psalm 13:5)
Director of Springs KidsCristin has the spiritual gifts of service, helps, and leadership. Having grown up in church, with parents who set an example of service, Cristin has used her gifts in ministries such as PADS, nursery, Sunday school, and providing meals for families of newborns. She feels blessed now to be serving as Director of Springs Kids. Cristin and her husband Ryan have been attending Living Springs since they were dating, when the church was called Homewood Reformed. They love being able to raise their three children in a loving church that is committed to empowering the next generation.
After years of growing mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, Jennifer is thrilled to join the staff of Living Springs where she can put her acquired skills to use and continue to grow. She has been blessed with creativity and a passion for helping others, and she is eager to use that blessing to glorify God and be a blessing in the lives of others. Jennifer lives in Chicago Heights with her better half Joshwa, and their three children. She can frequently be found performing in nearby community theaters.
Since 2003, Gerry’s desire to be a vessel of God has been fulfilled as a staff member who loves God with all her “heart, soul, and mind.” She has a master’s in Christian counseling, and she is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a Board-Certified Christian Life Coach. Gerry counsels the underserved, and she also enjoys facilitating for the Coffee Break Bible Study, playing soccer, and being a grandmother. Gerry and her husband Jim have five children and two grandchildren.
Numbers Man Jim Tufford has served as Living Springs’ bookkeeper since 2008. When he’s not tracking expenses and balancing budgets, he is busy on the Living Springs website, adding the weekly updates that so many of our members rely on. Jim does this all with a corny sense of humor that makes fellow staff members groan, smile, and shake their heads.
