September 19 – September 24, 2016

by Living Springs Community Church on September 16, 2016

journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Zechariah 1

When does God return his favor to us?  Why was God angry with the nations he used against Israel?  Who are the four horns that scattered Israel?

 Zechariah 2

Why would Jerusalem be as a town without walls? Who is the angel who will dwell in our midst?

 Zechariah 3

Who is the angel that Satan stands to oppose?  What does the angel remove from Joshua?  Who is the servant that God would send to the people?  What does it mean to invite your neighbor under your vine and fig tree?

 Zechariah 4

What does the lampstand represent?  How would Zechariah know the angel spoke the truth?  What is the plumb line to be drawn?  Who are the seven who will rejoice?

 Zechariah 5

What did the scroll represent?  What does the basket represent?  Who do the woman and the lead disc represent?

 Zechariah 6

What is the purpose of the four spirits?  What does the silver and gold crown represent?  What will the new crown establish?
