July 20 – July 25, 2015

by Living Springs Community Church on July 17, 2015

journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Isaiah 55

With what should we satisfy ourselves?  When can the Lord be found?  What will not return void from God?

 Isaiah 56

To who also has God promised salvation?  Who are the blind watchmen?

 Isaiah 57

To whom does God’s rest and peace come early?  What were the people doing on the lofty and high mountains?  How did the people descend to Sheol?  With whom does God dwell?  Which backsliders will be healed by God?

 Isaiah 58

What righteousness does God expect from us?  What will God do for us if we do these things?  How is our darkness replaced with light?  How could Israel become the Repairer and the Restorer?  How do we honor God?

 Isaiah 59

What separates us from God?  How does God respond to this?  Who set forth the plan for salvation?  Who is the Redeemer that will come to Zion?  What did God promise with His new covenant?

 Isaiah 60

Who also will worship at the altar of Israel?  For what will the cypress, pine, and the box tree be used?  Who are the works of God’s hands?  What is the work of God’s hands?  When will the people inherit the land forever?
