June 15 – June 20, 2015

by Living Springs Community Church on June 12, 2015

journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Isaiah 25

What is the mountain of the Lord?  What will God do for His mountain?  What are the veil and the covering that will be removed?  What will be swallowed up forever?

 Isaiah 26

What is the strong city of the believers?  How will the nation be expanded?  What will happen to the dead who knew God?

 Isaiah 27

Who does Leviathan represent?  Who is the vineyard that the Lord keeps?  Who will God gather out of the river?  When will He do this?

 Isaiah 28

Who is the strong one the Lord will use?  How would God speak to his people from now on?  Because they did not follow God, who did they make a covenant with?  Who is the cornerstone that would be laid in Zion?  What was revealed to Isaiah concerning the whole earth?  What did Isaiah say about how God teaches?

 Isaiah 29

What will happen to Jerusalem?  Why were the people of Israel only near to God?  Why could Israel not hide their deeds from God?  Who will be cut off completely one day?  Why would Jacob not be ashamed of his children?

 Isaiah 30

Why was Israel not to trust in Egypt?  What type of people had Israel become?  Who would God be gracious to?  How will God teach His people in the future? What is the great light to come?
