May 18 – May 23, 2015

by Living Springs Community Church on May 15, 2015

journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Isaiah 1

Was God pleased with Judah’s sacrifices and festivals?  How could Judah’s sins become white as snow?  What three types of sinners will be consumed by the Lord?

 Isaiah 2

How will the mountain of the Lord’s house be established?  What are the rocks and caves that people will hide in?

 Isaiah 3

What were some of the things that would happen to Judah?  What had the leaders and elders done to the people?

 Isaiah 4

Who is the branch in verse 2?  Who is the fruit of the earth?  What will God do for His people day and night?  What is the covering that will be over all glory?

 Isaiah 5

Who is the beloved who had a vineyard?  Who is the vineyard?  What judgment would God bring on Israel?

 Isaiah 6

What did Isaiah’s confession of unclean lips symbolize?  What did the hot coal touched to Isaiah’s lips symbolize?  What was Isaiah able to do next?
