by Living Springs Community Church on April 17, 2015

journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Ecclesiastes 1

How is the earth and life described?  Who is the author of this book?

 Ecclesiastes 2

What did Solomon’s next test reveal?  What is the difference between the wise and the foolish?  What does God do for the good man?

 Ecclesiastes 3

When do things happen?  What is the God-given task of men?  What advantage has man over animals?

 Ecclesiastes 4

Who is the least oppressed?  What is the futility of the companionless?  What is the value of a friend?  What determines the popularity or acceptance of someone?

 Ecclesiastes 5

How should we vow?  What is the futility of abundance?  What good are riches left for your children?  What are we to do with our rewards and riches from our labors?

 Ecclesiastes 6

What is the futility of one who may have abundance?  With what should we be satisfied?  Should man contend with life?
