journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Luke 19

Who was Zacchaeus?  What was noticeable about Him?  Why did Jesus call him a son of Abraham?  Why did Jesus rid the temple of the merchants?

 Luke 20

How did Jesus answer the chief priests and elders about His authority?  After the resurrection who will we be like?  What is the punishment for the hypocrite?

 Luke 21

What are the signs of the end time?  What will happen to Jerusalem?  How are we to be counted worthy to stand before Christ?

 Luke 22

At the Lord’s Supper, what was symbolized by the bread and wine?  What would Peter do before the night was over?  Who did Jesus heal, even as he was being arrested?

 Luke 23

To whom did the chief priests and scribes send Jesus?  Where did Jesus end up last?  Who was released according to custom instead of Jesus?  Who carried Jesus’ cross part of the way for Him?  What happened to the veil in the temple?  How many days did Jesus suffer and then die?

 Luke 24

What did the women discover the day after the Sabbath at the tomb?  What did the two men in shining garments tell the women?  Who did Jesus appear to on the road to Emmaus?  What promise would Jesus send to the apostles?
