journey_480“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with questions to guide your reading. To receive each week’s readings in your email, sign up for the Journey blog!

 Luke 7

What miracle did Jesus do at Capernaum?  What is meant by “blessed is the man who is not offended by me”?  Why is the least one in the kingdom of heaven greater than John the Baptist?  What did a woman do to Jesus when He was at the Pharisees’ house?  Why?

 Luke 8

What does the seed represent in the Parable of the Sower?  What do you receive when you hear the word and apply it to your life?  Explain the Parable of the Light.  What two miracles did Jesus do after the healing of the demon possessed man?

 Luke 9

What miracle did Jesus do the next day after coming down from the mountain?  Why could the disciples not cast out the demon in the boy?  How would someone not be fit for the kingdom of God?

 Luke 10

What are the two greatest commandments required to have eternal life?  Who is your neighbor?  What should we never neglect?

 Luke 11

What should be the basic content of our prayer to the Father?  What is the result of asking, seeking, and knocking?  How does God give us the Holy Spirit?

 Luke 12

How do we confess Jesus before men?  How do we deny Jesus?  What will happen if we deny Jesus before men?  What is given and required of you?
