Journey readings:
December 30 – January 4, 2014

by Living Springs Community Church on December 27, 2013

“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join the Journey? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with some questions to guide your reading. Sign up for the Journey blog, and you’ll receive the weekly reading schedule in your email inbox!

 Romans 13

How does love fulfill all the law?  What are we to awake from and why?  How do you put on the Lord Jesus Christ?

 Romans 14

What should we do about unclear and doubtful things?  What will God do for a person who is not as knowledgeable in the faith?

 Romans 15

What scriptures were sought for learning and hope in God?  To whom was Jesus a servant?  What other people came under the grace of God because of Jesus?  What was Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles?

 Romans 16

What did Paul say to do about people who taught contrary to his doctrine and caused divisions in the church?  How did these captivate others with their message?  Of what are we to be wise and innocent?

 Deuteronomy 1

How many years was it after Israel had left Egypt that Moses spoke to them again on all the commandments of the Lord?  Why did Israel refuse to go into the promise land?  Who did God say would not enter the promise land?  Who would enter the promise land?

 Deuteronomy 2

How long did it take before all the   rebellious men of war were consumed in the wilderness?  What relative of Israel lived at Mount Seir?
