Journey readings:
November 11 – November 16, 2013

by Living Springs Community Church on November 8, 2013

“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join the Journey? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with some questions to guide your reading. Sign up for the Journey blog, and you’ll receive the weekly reading schedule in your email inbox!

 Psalm 19

What declares the glory of God through all the earth?  What is to be desired more than gold?  What did the psalmist want to be acceptable in the sight of the Lord?

 Psalm 20

What will we rejoice in?  In what do some trust?

 Psalm 21

In what will the king rejoice?  What will God’s hand find out?  Who did the psalmist want exalted?

 Psalm 22

What words did Jesus quote on the cross?  What does God inhabit?  Who said words almost identical to verse 8 when Jesus was on the cross?  When was verse 18 fulfilled?  Who will remember and turn to the Lord?

 Psalm 23

Who is our shepherd?  Where does He lead us?  What does He restore?  Why do we not fear when we walk through the valley of death?  What does He prepare for us?  What follows us all the days of our life?

 Psalm 24

What belongs to the Lord?  Who shall stand in His holy place?  Who is the King of glory?
