Journey readings:
October 28 – November 2, 2013

by Living Springs Community Church on October 25, 2013

“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join the Journey? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with some questions to guide your reading. Sign up for the Journey blog, and you’ll receive the weekly reading schedule in your email inbox!

 Psalm 7

In whom did the psalmist trust?  When did the psalmist say his enemy should persecute his soul?  What will happen to those who dig pits for others to fall in?

 Psalm 8

What is excellent in all the earth?  Who in the New Testament quoted from verse 2?  What question will a person ask who considers the heavens?  What is man to have dominion over?

 Psalm 9

How will the Lord judge the world?  Who does the Lord not forget?  Who will be turned into hell?

 Psalm 10

Who does not have God in all his thoughts?  Who helps the fatherless?

 Psalm 11

Why should we not be disturbed if one says we should flee to the mountains as a bird?  What will the Lord rain upon the wicked?  What does the Lord love?

 Psalm 12

What will the Lord cut off?  What are the words of the Lord like?  How long will the words of the Lord be preserved?
