Journey readings:
October 21 – October 26, 2013

by Living Springs Community Church on October 18, 2013

“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join the Journey? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with some questions to guide your reading. Sign up for the Journey blog, and you’ll receive the weekly reading schedule in your email inbox!

 Psalm 1

What are three characteristics of a blessed man?  What does the blessed man do with the law of the Lord? Whose ways does the Lord know?

 Psalm 2

Who is the psalmist referring to when he said “Thou art my Son”?  What should kings of the earth do? Who is blessed?

 Psalm 3

What did many say of the psalmist’s soul?  What was the Lord to him?  What is upon God’s people?

 Psalm 4

What has the Lord set apart for himself?  What should we offer to the Lord?  What does the Lord put in our hearts?

 Psalm 5

In what does God not have pleasure? Who will rejoice?  Who will the Lord bless?

 Psalm 6

Where is there no remembrance of God?  What did the Lord hear?
