Journey readings:
September 16 – September 21, 2013

by Living Springs Community Church on September 13, 2013

“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join the Journey? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with some questions to guide your reading. Sign up for the Journey blog, and you’ll receive the weekly reading schedule in your email inbox!

 Numbers 7

When the time came to anoint the tabernacle, how many leaders brought offerings to the priest?  For what were the oxen and carts to be used?  Why did the sons of Kohath not need a cart to use?

 Numbers 8

What did the rest of the Levites become to God?   What was the age range for service of the Levites?

 Numbers 9

If someone could not keep the Passover because of uncleanness or not available, what were they to do?  When did the Israelites know to pick up and move?

 Numbers 10

How long had the Israelites stayed at Mount Sinai? (See Exodus 19:1)  What was the use of the two silver trumpets?

 Numbers 11

What did the Israelites complain about?  Who did God tell Moses to use to help him with the workload?  What did God do to these men?  What did God provide the Israelites as food?  What happened to the ones who had complained that they were better off in Egypt?

 Numbers 12

Why did Aaron and Miriam speak against Moses?  What happened to Miriam?  How did God describe Moses?
