Journey readings:
February 11 – February 16, 2013

by Living Springs Community Church on February 8, 2013

“The Journey” is Living Springs’ commitment to read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. We all follow the same reading schedule so that we can encourage each other along the way. And our pastors post occasional blogs about the readings to instruct and inspire us.

Want to join the Journey? This week’s daily readings are listed below, along with some questions to guide your reading. Sign up for the Journey blog, and you’ll receive the weekly reading schedule in your email inbox!

Did I miss something here? Are you giving reports on how Pastor Mark is doing?

Melanie Jongsma February 9, 2013 at 7:53 am

We haven’t posted any official reports on this website, but we have received occasional prayer chain emails letting us know that Pastor Mark is continuing to improve at home. Last we heard, he is still to weak to receive visitors, but he’s getting stronger every day, praise God.

Even though Pastor Mark is still weak he did call to ask how Mel and I are. I feel so humble to think of what he’s going through and yet he called to ask how we are.Thank you Lord for sending Pastor Mark to us.

I love it that Genesis just starts right out with the Creation story. I mean, there’s no build-up or intro, just BAM! “God created the heavens and the earth.” It seems like that should be the climax of a story, but the Bible begins with it!
